COVID-19 virus SARS-CoV-2

Epidemiological Profile of Norway

The evolution of COVID-19 epidemiology throughout the pandemic between March 1, 2020 and September 12, 2021 in Norway. The data is expressed as the weekly number of reported positive cases per 100000 of the population. On September 12, 2021 only 31% of the Norwegian population of 5,4 million was exposed to the coronavirus and began mounting its global immune response to it. This suggests that Norway has a long painful road ahead towards reaching population resilience and the coronavirus eradication.

Notice the characteristic profound incidence fluctuations despite maintenance of strict social distancing measures by the Norwegian government.
