Epidemiological Profile of Norway

The evolution of COVID-19 epidemiology throughout the pandemic between March 1, 2020 and September 12, 2021 in Norway. Data is expressed as the weekly number of reported positive cases per 100000 per Km2 of area with significant population density. On April 18 the Norwegian population (5,4 million) is still short of its 60% herd immunity by 2,2 million individuals. Notice the characteristic profound incidence fluctuations despite maintenance of strict social distancing measures by the Norwegian government.
