Small or medium format?

Small format (35 mm) is an inexpensive film size offering a reasonable image quality up to enlargements of  11" x 14". It is also the most widely used format for production of colour slides. 

The medium format (70 mm) film is required for enlargements of 16" x 20" or greater.
